Mentoring Event On “YUKTI-National Innovation Repository(NIR)
The objective of the event is
- To make the students understand the process involved in YUKTI portal.
- To encourage the students to create innovative design/products that is useful to society and make use of YUKTI portal.
Institution’s Innovation Council has organized a mentoring event in association with Dept. of Computer Engineering titled “YUKTI-National Innovation Repository(NIR)” on 11th January 2023 from 12.00 – 1.00 pm. through offline mode at Lecture Hall C221, NHCE. The welcome address was given by Dr.T.Kavitha., Professor, Dept. IIC Coordinator/ CE followed by the Introduction of speaker Dr. C.R.Rathish, Associate Professor / CE was given by Dr. S.P.Manikandan, HoD/CE.
Dr. A. Sujin Jose, IIC Convener, NHCE addressed the audience about the role and responsibility of IIC – NHCE.
Then mentoring of YUKTI commenced by the resource person. It was very good awareness talk about the process involved in YUKTI and a motivational session for the students to think about innovative ideas to solve for the real-time problems faced by society. Students actively participated in the session by interacting with the speaker. Around 64 students of II-year (Batch 2021-25) CE attended this Mentoring event. Finally, the event concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. T. Kavitha, IIC Coordinator, Dept. of CE. and the event is successfully completed.
The outcome of the event is that the students got knowledge about the different processes involved in YUKTI Portal and got encouraged to come up with creative designs/solutions for real-time problems.
